Homestart Minibus Launch


This vehicle will be used to transport many families living in crisis situations, to visit family groups and educational visits, hospital visits & mini-breaks to the countryside or the seaside. (It is fully equipped to carry 4 wheelchairs at one time).

This is an essential vehicle that has been provided by the wonderful committee at "Property for Kids".
They organised a wonderful "Moulin Rouge Ball" during Oct 2005, this was attended by over 400 corporate guests and raised over £35,000 in one evening! We were absolutely Delighted at this amazing result.

Jackie Cummins Dougan said. " Without the support of "Property for Kids", we wouldn't be in a position to provide this essential mode of transport, we are both thrilled and extremely grateful to all the committee members involved & indeed all the supporters who attended this glittering event."

The Birmingham Hilton Hotel was the venue for The Moulin Rouge Ball, where a staggering amount of funds was raised on the night, from ticket sales and an auction.

These funds were used to purchase a minibus for Home-Start Family Support Centre!
