  
Home-Start Family Support Centre was established in 1997 to promote the welfare of families with at least one child under 5 years of age.
Parents can telephone or call in to ask for help or information. Families needing help are often referred by Health Visitors, Doctors or Social Workers. This is always with the consent of the families.
Parents can freely discuss their worries and problems with Home-Start, knowing that, with the exception of child protection issues, it is a confidential service.
Home-Start Family Support Centre has adopted the Standards and Methods of Practice laid down by Home-Start U.K. is bound by a constitution and is run by a voluntary management committee.
